Xbox pre-order comes with Metro 2033 Redux but not Last Light Redux. I just pre-ordered Exodus Gold Edition on my One X. Getting both endings and every achievement. Metro Redux is the ultimate double game collection, including the definitive versions of both Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light, each rebuilt in the latest. Played through both games and fell in love. I've been reading the Last Light Redux is just some kind of GOTY edition for Last Light, so I guess there are no more dilemas which game to choose there. I bought Metro Redux for the Xbox One way back. it's kind of sad I had seen its ending and read things related to it in the past because I thought I'd never be able to play it myself since it looked scary (and it is kind of, but not as much as I thought). For some reason, having NPC companions heavily reduces how scary the game is, at least for me. In 2013 the world was devastated by an apocalyptic event, annihilating almost all mankind and turning.

I must say it'd have been very hard for me to play the game if it had more parts where I'm left all alone. The ones in the original were perfect to me. no, sir! I didn't think much about the graphics and I also understood that some graphics were improved, while some were downgraded in Redux. the latter was very important as I couldn't imagine myself trying to find the path I have to follow while monsters spawn indefinitely and SCARE me. I must say that, to my surprise, the 'staring contest' phase (writing it like this to prevent any obvious spoilers) was not all that scary (maybe videos of it I had seen a long time before had ruined its scare factor).ĮDIT: The reason I decided to go for the original was that you told me there were some bugs in Redux, that they had removed content (some Panzer fight which was kinda nice, lol, maybe others) and you also said in the original there are no endless monsters. I finished it today (~1 hour yesterday and I played way more than I should have today.).
